Nurse Libby
Nurse Libby, originally from North Carolina, began her nursing journey at Presbyterian Hospital Schools of Nursing in Charlotte, where she graduated in 1982. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of St. Francis. With a career dedicated to pediatrics in various roles, she has proudly held a national certification in Pediatric Nursing for 35 years. Outside of her profession, Nurse Libby is a proud mother of six and is joyfully awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild this November.
Nurse Libby has been caring for the Beaverbrook family for the past four years, all while continuing her work at the hospital. She looks after both students and staff with patience and kindness, always ready with a smile and the essentials—Band-Aids, peppermints, and ice packs (the true “holy trinity” of school nurse medicine!). Whether it’s a scraped knee, headache, a tummy ache, or just a tough day, she’s there to help everyone feel better.
